All Saints' Choir

All Saints' Choir after morning service

All Saints' Church Choir is a traditional SATB choir.

We have an extensive library of music ranging from Palestrina to the present day and nearly everything else in between.

A recent trip to sing the services at Truro Cathedral with some regular friends

We sing at the principal service of the week, which is our 10.00 a.m. Sunday Mass.  We lead the congregational singing, sing a Eucharistic setting, communion anthems, motets and on feast days we also sing an introit anthem and psalms.

The choir rehearses on Thursday evenings at 6.30 p.m. in church during the summer months and in the choir vestry during the winter months, where we are fortunate to boast very good acoustics.

Sunday morning rehearsals take place at 9.40 a.m. in the choir vestry.

If you would like to join us, you would be made very welcome and, at present, we have vacancies in all parts.

We are very fortunate at All Saints in that we have  superb acoustics and a splendid three manual Hele organ to support the singing.

We also have two assistant organists to support the Director of Music and a Choral Director, who conducts the choir, and works jointly with the Director of Music and Vicar to select the music.

We are also very lucky to have, among our choristers, a very talented composer who regularly composes music for the church and choir.

If you would like to join the choir, then please contact either:

Daniel Shermon - Director of Music: chocoholicorganist@gmail.com or

Gillian Wright  - Choral Director: gillianabwright@gmail.com

They would love to hear from you.
